daily activities....

Here are a ton of pictures from the past couple months. There isn't any particular order to any of it. Just a bunch of funny moments that i get to share with these 2 little kids.

Jett now likes to help feed pepper....there is a funny video of his helpfulness at it's best. hopefully i'll be able to upload it.

  Kayden comes over to play sometimes. He is the sweetest little guy! Him and pepper are great at sharing gold fish and throwing them on the ground together and stepping on every single one to make sure the crumbs get smaller and smaller!

 Jett and Kayden know how to use the brooms....

 Jett LOVES to color with chalk! he is even improving from little scratch marks to real shapes. Pepper also loves chalk....but she likes to eat it.

side note: It was funny looking at these pictures from last month. Pepper has her binky in....she has now been binky free for a few weeks! It took a couple nights with a couple hours of crying but now it's over. I wasn't sure if i was going to traumatize her to much for taking away her binky and starting to ween her in the same week. She actually really likes whole milk and can hold her own sippy cup better than jett did at 18 months. Jett always had to have a sippy cup with a straw cause he refused to tilt the cup. Pepper was a pro right from the start. Anyways she is down to only a morning and night nursing and that's going to be done away with shortly.

 We still love to go swimming lots but our 6 month pass is about to run out. :(

 Pepper sits so funny in her high chair. She always has one of her legs up on the tray. We've decided that it keeps her from slumping and sliding down low.....and it's cute!

 Pep has the best time playing when jett is napping. They havn't been napping at the same time for several weeks....I'm going crazy! But she likes time to herself with out jett taking all the toys from her and she is so stinking happy all the time!

 i love that she is sitting indian style here.....she moved the reciept right in the way when i went to take the picture and then the camera battery died so i couldn't redo it. but it's still darling!

 Sam's new bike was supposed to be here this weekend (we ordered it from germany over a month ago but thanks to hurricanes and other unplanned events it has been delayed getting here) but it's now made it to salt lake and the company cant deliver it until monday so we are still waiting. Sam borrowed a friends helmet just incase it got here early so he could go ride around. His helmet is also still in the process of being shipped seperate from the bike. Sam is so stoked about this bike he may even do his very first blog post when it gets here.
Even without a bike....the kids loved playing with the helmet.

 Where's pepper? I couldn't find her for a few moments one day after i had left the room to take care of jett and then i heard little noises coming from the corner under her high chair. I hadn't cleaned up after her breakfast yet and she found a lone missing waffle and was happily devouring it. This girl LOVES waffles. We got a new waffle maker a couple months ago and I'm not sure how long sam will endure waffles 3 times a week, but it's so easy and fast and both kids eat them so why not? Pepper will eat an entire waffle herself and jett usually will too as long as it has whip cream on it! She doesn't know what she is missing out on yet.

Another trick to getting jett to eat is to tell him he can eat outside. He hasn't figured out it's the same stuff so dont tell him. Also if i can figure out a way to make his food into anything with wheels or a train.....he will also eat it without thinking twice. This day he got to choose his own special ice cream cause he was so good at the library. (we havn't shown our faces at the city library for several months since prior incidents occured.....but i decided to try again and he lasted a few minutes during story time which was vast improvement!!!)

Jett likes to play in the rain. Pepper and I like to watch him play in the rain.

More pictures of jett drawing. We aquired a big white board from a friend last week. I dont really have anywhere to use it but she was DI-ing it anyway so we took it. Jett got to choose his own new markers (he chose the only package that had a yellow one in it....he loves yellow). He has been using them every day since. Thanks Jenna!

He has also discovered that his cars can get going pretty fast down our slanted driveway.

and he is probably telling pepper to back off in this one....

Pepper can now stand on her own....and walk holding on to things. She's so happy!
